Personalised Silver Slide On Dog Tag - Silent Engraved Collar ID Plate

It threads onto the collar, and then you forget it is there.

This personalised slide-on dog tag lies flat along the collar strap instead of hanging underneath it. There is no split ring, no chain and no rubber band, so nothing swings when your dog puts their head down to the bowl.

Materials

One piece of 1.5mm stainless steel with a soft brushed silver finish. The two slots are cut into the plate itself, so there is no separate holder or sleeve to lose. Matte black engraving, cut into the metal. The front is engraved to order in our UK workshop and the back is left plain.

Clean and understated, and easy to pair with almost any collar colour.

Choose your size

• Small is 40 x 20mm and fits a 16mm collar strap (about 5/8in)
• Medium is 45 x 25mm and fits a 20mm collar strap (about 3/4in)
• Large is 50 x 30mm and fits a 25mm collar strap (about 1in)

Measure the flat strap of the collar, not the buckle or the keeper, and go by that width.

Will it fit your collar?

This tag threads on, so the collar needs an open end. Unfasten it, feed the end through the first slot, behind the plate, and out through the second slot, then fasten it again and slide the tag to the middle. A collar whose end cannot pass through the slots will not take one, so it is not suitable for a closed clip-buckle collar.

What to put on the tag

In England, Scotland and Wales, a dog in a public place must generally wear a collar showing the owner's name and address, either on the collar itself or on an attached tag. Northern Ireland has similar identification requirements. A mobile number is well worth adding, but it does not replace the name and address.
