Personalised German Shepherd Dog Tag - Engraved Stainless Steel

This personalised German Shepherd dog tag features a shepherd face, upright ears and front paws peeking over the edge, with your dog's name engraved neatly beneath. Add up to five lines of contact details to the reverse, giving you space for the information that can help bring them home quickly.

Each tag is laser engraved to order in our UK workshop. Made from substantial 2mm stainless steel, it has a soft brushed finish in silver, gold or rose gold. The artwork and wording are engraved into the surface rather than printed on top.

Choose your size

Small - 20mm: about the width of a 1p coin. Best for puppies, small breeds and narrow collars.
Medium - 25mm: about the width of a 2p coin. Our most popular size and the best all-round choice for most dogs.
Large - 30mm: a little wider than a £2 coin. Gives you the most room for contact details on the back.
All three sizes cost the same, so choose the size that best suits your dog and collar. Large is the usual choice for most adult German Shepherds and broader collars.
Please note: the more wording you add, the smaller the engraving will need to be. For the clearest result, keep the back details concise, particularly on the Small tag.

How to personalise your tag

1. Choose the size, colour and font.
2. Enter the name for the front, up to 15 characters. For the enlarged design without a name, leave the front-name field blank.
3. Enter the reverse wording one line at a time, exactly as you want it engraved.
4. Check every name, number and postcode carefully before ordering.
We centre each line and adjust the text size to fit. We engrave the wording, spelling and numbers supplied, so please proofread everything carefully.

What to put on the back

In England, Scotland and Wales, dogs in public must generally wear a collar showing the owner's name and address, either on the collar itself or on an attached tag. Northern Ireland has similar identification requirements. A mobile number is strongly recommended, but it does not replace the owner's name and address.

Order changes and support

If you spot a mistake after ordering, contact us immediately. Changes may not be possible once engraving has begun. If your tag arrives damaged, faulty or different from the details you submitted, contact us and we'll put it right.

Wipe clean with a soft, damp cloth and avoid abrasive cleaners.
