A personalised blue dog tag, deep laser-engraved to order in our Surrey workshop. The brushed navy-blue finish is easy to spot at a glance - on the collar, on the kitchen side, in the long grass - and makes a smart name tag against tan, brown and black collars alike.

Navy that stands up to the weather

Each tag is 2mm-thick brushed stainless steel in a deep navy finish. Details are laser-engraved into the metal - never printed or painted - so the lettering cannot fade or peel, whatever the weather does. Waterproof, rust-resistant, and light enough that your dog will not give it a second thought.

• Small (20mm, 4g) - cats, kittens, puppies and toy breeds

Ships with two stainless steel split rings - tag on the small one, collar D-ring on the large.

What does UK law want on the tag?

Owner's name and address whenever the dog is in public - that is the requirement. A phone number is voluntary but is what actually gets the call made. The layout that works: name or symbol on the front; surname, house number, street, postcode and phone on the back.

Care

Wipe down with a damp cloth after muddy, sandy or salty walks. No bleach or scouring pads, and replace any split ring that starts to stretch or open.
