How to measure for a dog bolster bed
- Stand your dog in a relaxed position with all four feet on the ground.
- Measure the length of your dog from the tip of their nose to the base of their tail.
- Measure the height of your dog from the top of their head to the floor.
- Add 15-20% to each measurement to allow for your dog to stretch out and move around.
- Choose a bolster bed that is at least the same length and width as the measurements you took in step 4.
Here are some additional tips:
- If your dog likes to curl up, you may want to choose a bed that is slightly smaller than the measurements you took.
- Consider the weight of your dog when choosing a bed. A heavier dog will need a bed with a stronger frame.
