A personalised rose gold dog tag, deep laser-engraved to order in our Surrey workshop. The soft pink-gold finish makes this the gift pick of the range - new puppy, birthday, Christmas - and a name tag that looks as good on the collar as it does in the photos. 28 symbols, 10 fonts, engraved both sides.
A soft pink-gold, cut in steel
Rose gold colour, stainless steel toughness: each tag is 2mm-thick brushed stainless steel, so the pretty finish is backed by the hardest-wearing metal we engrave. Lettering is lasered deep into the tag - not printed or painted - so it stays crisp through every muddy walk. Waterproof, rust-resistant, and light enough for the smallest member of the family.
- Small (20mm, 4g) - kittens, cats, puppies and toy breeds
- Medium (25mm, 5g) - the most-picked size: dachshunds, spaniels, labradors, larger cats
- Large (30mm, 6g) - retrievers, shepherds and bigger breeds
Two stainless steel split rings included, small for the tag and large for the D-ring.
Make it a gift they keep
Up to 3 engraved lines on the front - hearts and paws are the favourite symbols in rose gold - plus 5 lines of ID and contact details on the back. Try DOTTY with a heart and the preview shows the finished tag as you type. 10 font styles. Gifting a new-puppy tag? Engrave the name on the front and the owner's surname, address and phone number on the back - everything UK law asks for, ready for their first walk.
Buy 2 tags, save 15% - 3 or more saves 25%.
What should a dog tag say? (the UK rules)
Out in public, UK rules ask that your dog wears the owner's name and address. A phone number is optional in law - and the first thing that brings a lost dog home, so add one. On a 25mm tag: name or symbol front; surname, house number, street, postcode and mobile on the back.

Caring for rose gold
Same care as all our steel tags: damp cloth after muddy or salty walks, no bleach, no scouring pads, and replace any split ring that starts to stretch or open.
Questions
What shade is the rose gold? A soft, warm pink-gold rather than a bright pink - subtle on the collar and easy on the eye against cream, tan and grey.
Will it suit a cat or a puppy? Yes. The Small (20mm) weighs just 4g - it is the size we recommend for kittens, cats and toy breeds.
Will the engraving fade? No - the details are engraved into the steel, not printed on it, so there is nothing to wear away.
Which size should I choose? Medium (25mm) for most dogs; Small for cats and puppies; Large if you want the full address in bigger lettering.
